WORK ADJUSTMENT AT FOCUS

What is WORK ADJUSTMENT TRAINING?

Work Adjustment Training (WAT) is an on-the-job work training program that provides an opportunity to learn universal skills that every employer looks for when hiring employees.  Soft skills include reliability, team-work, problem-solving, customer service and effective communication.

During training, you are assigned a supervisor who provides daily mentoring and feedback to help you be successful. Our hands-on training offers insight your strengths, areas for improvement and potential career goals. Our WAT program helps you build confidence and work skills, as well as trouble-shoot workplace logistics including transportation, social security benefits and accommodations.

Our work training sites vary based on where you live, your availability and interests, but you will typically work 15-20 hours per week. We offer paid training for individuals enrolled in the State VR program.

Our goal for Work Adjustment Training is to provide you with the skills and training you need for a successful career. Call us today to discuss details and get started!
